Harris Federation named ‘Trust Team of the Year’ at Tes Schools Awards
We are delighted to announce that the Harris Federation has been named ‘Trust Team of the Year’ at the Tes Schools Awards 2025, a major national celebration of achievement across the education sector.
The judges praised Harris for transforming the lives of thousands of young people in some of the country’s most disadvantaged communities, consistently outperforming national averages and delivering exceptional outcomes for students.
“We are incredibly proud to receive this national award, which recognises the hard work, expertise and dedication of staff right across the Federation,” said Sir Dan Moynihan, CEO of the Harris Federation. “Our academies work tirelessly to provide the very best education and opportunities for the communities we serve, and it’s fantastic to see that commitment acknowledged at a national level.”
The Federation’s record includes 73% of academies rated Outstanding by Ofsted, a quarter of students progressing to Russell Group universities (including 16% of disadvantaged students) and a growing national influence through initiatives such as the National Institute of Teaching and the training of over 1,250 new teachers each year.
The judges highlighted the story of Harris alumni – like Mohammed, a teenage refugee who went from Harris to Oxford and now teaches at Harvard, as a powerful example of the Federation’s transformational impact.
Congratulations to all our staff and students on this outstanding recognition.
