Anti Bullying Workshops
This week KS2 took part in the Anti-Bullying workshop. During the workshop the children performed role play by acting out different bullying scenes and then looked at how they can stand up for themselves in a firm, respectful and confident way. The children thoroughly enjoyed having positive interactions with their peers and were able to take away lots of learned skills during the workshop.

HPACH BHM Carnival 2024!
Our pupils, staff and parents had a fantastic time at our first BHM carnival and Community Evening. Each class learned about a Caribbean island or African country and on carnival day came to school representing their country. Our DJ played Afrobeats, Soca and Reggae whilst our children paraded, cheered on by our parents and carers. Pupils who had taken part in the steel pan workshop played along to the music to really bring our carnival alive! After school the playground was filled by the delicious aromas that came from the BBQ where both African and Caribbean dishes were served.

Year 5 Watt Tyler Trip
Year 5 had a fantastic time recently at Wat Tyler Country Park for their two night residential (despite the rain for one class and a mini heatwave for another!). They completed a range of activities such as soft archery, pond dipping, a minibeast hunt and a nighttime walk. Additionally, they made and flew their own kites and completed a mud slide! The trips were a great success and now the children can’t wait for the next residential!

The Year 3 children recently visited the British Museum as part of their studies on Ancient Egypt and Tutankhamen. During this exciting trip, they explored a variety of fascinating exhibits, including the famous Rosetta Stone and the stunning artifacts from Tutankhamen’s tomb. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to engage with history firsthand, enhancing their understanding of ancient civilizations and sparking their curiosity about the past. The experience was both educational and inspiring, bringing to life the incredible stories and achievements of Ancient Egypt.
